INFORMATION ABOUT AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERING FACULTY

* Function: specialized faculty responsible for teaching and training automotive trades.

* Mission:

- Implementing teaching and learning program, and allocated extracurricular in a school year, a semester or a course.

- Compiling programs, textbooks and materials related to vocational teaching when being allocated. Doing research on renewing contents, improving vocational teaching method to enhance training quality.

- Doing experiments and researches, applying technology into vocational teaching process and participating in production activities combined with training.

- Organizing activities enhancing qualification for teachers such as symposium, excellent teacher contest, class observation, inspecting and assessing teaching quality of teachers according to semester and school year.

- Managing teachers and staffs of the faculty.

- Managing all of the students of the faculty.

- Managing and using facilities and equipment effectively according to regulations of the Rector, suggesting and making plans which supplement and maintain vocational teaching equipment.

- Making reports according to regulations of the Rector.

- Doing other tasks according to allocation of the Rectors Board.

In addition to general tasks, teaching units have some other specific tasks listed as below:

- Training allocated trades such as Automotive, Agricultural machine technique, maintenance of mechanic equipment system…

- Combining internships to maintain and repair cars and motors of the college.

- Doing other tasks according to allocation of the Rectors Board.
