The 27th Labor Union Congress, term 2023-2028

The XXVII Union Conference, term 2023–2028, was solemnly held by the Union of Agricultural Mechanics College on April 28, 2023.

Mr. Vu Xuan Thuy, a member of the Party Personnel Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the member of the General Confederation, and the Chairman of the Vietnam Agriculture and Rural Development Trade Union were present and in charge of the Conference. Mrs. Trinh Hoang Hoa, a district member and member of the Provincial Labor Confederation's Executive Committee, the Chairman of the Binh Xuyen District Confederation of Labor, and members of the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of Tam Hop and Huong Son communes; On behalf of CAM, there were Dr. Pham Thi Lan Phuong, Secretary of the Party Committee - the rector, as well as the rest of the Board of Directors, unit leaders, and more than 200 union members from the entire college.

Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thu Hien - On behalf of the Trade union, approved the Report on the results of the school's trade union for the 2017-2023 term and orientations and tasks for the 2023-2028 term; Additionally, the Conference heard the opinions of comrades representing the units in the university on the issues of "Trade union members with scientific research", "Solutions to motivate staff, union members, and employees have well implemented the emulation", “ Promoting the function of trade unions in looking out for and defending the lawful rights and interests of authorities, officials, and workers”

Mr. Vu Xuan Thuy, Chairman of the Vietnam Agriculture and Rural Development Trade Union, made the suggestion during his speech at the Conference that the Executive Board of the CAM's Trade Union for the term 2023–2028 (1) foster the tradition of solidarity and work toward more than 60 years of building and development, (2) improve the school's ability to effectively carry out its responsibility to stand up for and defend the legal rights and interests of administrators, teachers, and staff; (3) proactively provide ways to boost wages for workers and work with the government to secure jobs for employees; (4) develop a particular action plan that is appropriate for reality, organize learning to fully understand the Resolution of the Trade Union Conference at all levels, and meet the goals established by the University Trade Union Conference (term of 2023 – 2028).

After a morning of extensive work, the Conference chose the 11-member Executive Committee of the XXVII College Union for the 2023–2028 term, as well as the official delegate and alternate delegate to the 6th Vietnam Agriculture and Rural Development Trade Union Conference and the 11th Binh Xuyen District Trade Union Conference for the same period (2023–2028).

The CAM trade union convention came to a triumphant conclusion. The Executive Committee of the Trade Union, serving a term of 2023 to 2028, pledges to foster a sense of accountability and community, direct union members to carry out the college's Trade Union activities, effectively carry out the role of representative, and safeguard the legitimate interests of the college and its employees.

Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Festival 2023 at CAM

On the morning of April 9, 2023, at the College of Agricultural Mechanics, a festival of books and reading culture was solemnly held in 2023. Attending the festival were Dr. Pham Thi Lan Phuong – Rector; along with teachers in the Board of Directors, representatives of leaders and some high school teachers, representatives of leaders of units in the school, representatives of students and faculty, along with the participation of some representatives Book clubs belonging to colleges and some high schools in Vinh Phuc province.

With the message "Books: Awareness - Innovation - Creation", "Books for me, for you", Theme: "The Gift - Exchange books for gifts" to inspire students to break through and surpass Go through your comfort zone to spread positive values to the community in a creative and effective way.

This is a practical, healthy activity with cultural activities to attract a large number of teachers, lecturers and students to participate in order to build and develop the reading movement towards a learning society, a beauty in social life, building a reading culture in the community, thereby propagating and educating about reading as well as respecting, preserving and protecting books.

During the program, many activities were held such as: cultural exchange, book reading movement, book-speaking contest, collective games, etc. activities brought a joyful and proud atmosphere. To inspire members from book clubs in the province and students of the school.

Vietnamese Teachers' Day 20/11/2022, here is congratulation letter from the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development

On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2022, Mr. Le Minh Hoan- Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development sent a congratulatory letter to the teachers, Teachers, Officials, Employees of Training Institutions under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Organization of examinations and protection of graduation thesis for the pilot training class according to Australian program

On 16th and 17th of December, at the Electronics – Refrigeration Faculty, the College of Agricultural Mechanics held a competition and protection of graduation thesis for the Industrial Electronics class in the college level trained according toprogram of Australia.

German team visiting and working at the school

On 31/10/2016, Mr. Steffen Horn – German expert visited and worked at VCAM on project "Development of training associated with businesses". The idea of the project is to set up an investment fund for training schools with business links in the training of human resources.    

British Council delegation visiting and working at school

On 18/10/2016, Ms. Kirsty - in charge of International Cooperation, Westminster Kingsway college visited and worked at VCAM, working together with Pham Vu Quoc Binh - Director of Quality Assurance Department; Ms. Hoang Van Anh - Director of Education Programs of the British Council; Representative of Vinh University of Technical Education; Vocational college of Agricultural Mechanics and Hue Industrial College.

AFD delegation working at VCAM

In the framework of the visit to Vietnam from 24/11 to 05/12/2016 of AFD delegation, the delegation had a visit and worked at VCAM on 30/11/2016. During the working session, the two sides discussed the contents related to the implementation of the project "Investment in Development of High Quality Vocational Training Schools".
