Information about study tour in France from May 15th to May 20th, 2017

    From May 15th to May 20th, 2017, Delegation of General Directorate of Vocational Training including 7 members leaded by Ms. Mai Thuy Nga – Vice Minister of GDVT, other members from Vocational College of Agricultural Mechanics, Viet Xo Vocational college of Electro mechanization and Construction; Dung Quat Vocational College of Technique and Technology had a Study Tour in France in the framework of project “Investment in Development of High Quality Vocational Training Schools” using funded ODA of French Government. 

When being in France, the delegation visited and worked with 04 training establishments and 01 business in Grenoble  (600km away from Paris)

In Grenoble, the delegation had a working session and signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the schools, Vocational College of Agricultural Mechanics signed a contract with Pablo College in Saint Martin d'Heres and Monge College in Chambery. Cooperate in welding, metal cutting and industrial electricity. The signing ceremony was held solemnly with the witness and speech of Ms. Mai Thuy Nga - Deputy Director General, Claudine Schimidt-Laine - Director of the Grenoble Education Department and representatives of the French Development Agency (AFD), Leaders of French vocational schools.

After the signing ceremony, schools had bilateral meetings to discuss about the implementation of the signed agreement and came to a conclusion that parties will need to strengthen sharing school information, experiences in training majors of the project, experiences in training teachers and administrators; Experience in business relations; The parties agree to appoint a clerk in charge of contacting to each other by email. The parties will continue to find solutions to exchange delegations; to enhance the exchange and reception of information, materials and images of schools in service of propaganda. Depending on conditions, parties will continue to deploy and support the training of teachers and administrators, students exchange and international scholarship programs.

The visit of the school leaders together with the GDVT mission successfully completed the proposed program, creating the opportunity for the school to coordinate with the French twinning schools to receive the information and experiences in implementation of training occupations in the framework of the French transferred to Vietnam, striving to achieve quality equivalent to the quality of the French label Lycée des métiers.
