British Council delegation visiting and working at school
On 18/10/2016, Ms. Kirsty - in charge of International Cooperation, Westminster Kingsway college visited and worked at VCAM, working together with Pham Vu Quoc Binh - Director of Quality Assurance Department; Ms. Hoang Van Anh - Director of Education Programs of the British Council; Representative of Vinh University of Technical Education; Vocational college of Agricultural Mechanics and Hue Industrial College.
The International Cooperation on Quality Assurance has been jointly implemented by the Verification Department, General Directorate of Vocational Training and the British Council since 2015 and has involved 18 schools in Vietnam and 5 UK institutions. The program has developed three international cooperation projects in 2015, three new collaborative projects in 2016, and is expected to develop a new partnership between Westminster Kingsway College, Vinh Technical College, Vocational college of Agricultural Mechanics and Hue Industrial College.

At the meeting, representatives of Westminster Kingsway College shared their views on the school's quality assurance model, professional skills development curriculum; also, Westminster Kingsway college listened to the introduction of VCAM about training, quality assurance, development strategies, then they came to see school's facilities and equipment. The delegation had previously visited and worked at Hue Industrial College.

At the end of the working session, Westminster Kingsway College and three Vietnamese schools have concluded their work on the project and the project proposal focuses on two main activities: training on professional skills and pedagogy of vocational teachers; Relationship with the business; based on that, schools will make project and send to the British Council on 30/11/2016. The project is expected to begin in January 2017, ending in August 2017; During March 2017, each school will send three delegates to visit and study in the UK; In August, the UK schools will conduct a project performance evaluation and participate in the National Workshop in Vietnam.
