International cooperation strategy

a. Aims

          Accessing and gradually meeting advanced training standards of other countries in the region, which are suitable to Vietnam’s development requirements;  coordinating in training human resources with other countries in the region, cooperating in transferring new technologies, engineering and scientific advances and scientific research.

b. Solutions

          - Creating diversified and multilateral cooperation patterns, strengthening regional integration, inviting foreign professionals to give lectures at the College and holding scientific seminars about vocational training; sending teachers and managing officers to study abroad.

          - Organizing practical visits to other countries for teachers and officers; Offering more chances for teachers and students to access to technologies of advanced countries in the region and the world.

          - Innovating international cooperation mechanisms, making regulations to encourage individuals and organizations to join international cooperation activities, focusing on co-operating training activities which offer international certificates but College-based; establishing the College to become a center for labor export and overseas study.

          - Continuing inviting more international volunteers to teach at the College; starting setting up cooperation with other countries inside or outside the region in training, doing scientific researches, transferring technology and production basing on mutual interest and benefits.

          - Taking advantages of the support of international organizations in engineering and investment to improve teachers’ qualification, new teaching ideology, new teaching methodology; improving professional qualifications and foreign languages; setting up new majors, innovating training curricula, supplying better teaching equipments and facilities, etc. to improve learning and teaching quality and international integration.

          - Taking trials of giving lectures in English in some classes by applying some advanced training programs and textbooks which are being used in overseas vocational colleges in line with development requirements  in Vietnam.
