Scientific technology development strategy
a. Aims
- Vocational College of Agricultural Mechanics is expected to be one of the most efficient center exploring, applying technologies and scientific advances to training and production activities.
- The College’s staff will carry out scientific researches of their training majors and technological transferring projects of national and international organizations, which can be effectively contribute to local and national socio-economic development.
- The College will set up, improve and complete new teaching curricula and methodology, building up vocational training standards. 70% teachers of the College are expected to carry out their studies to innovate teaching and learning equipments and patterns, some of which will be sector, ministry, national level studies.
b. Solutions
- Being clearly aware of the importance and function of researches to explore and apply technologies and scientific advances. Making working regulations and researching orientation for the College’s Scientific Council. Giving priority to center-point investing sources.
- Registering and organizing the implementation of research studies at ministry, division levels in improving the efficiency of management, training activities and quality of the College and the whole vocational system. Selecting and applying some studies in management and training activities to improve training quality and efficiency.
- Motivating internal power and encouraging staff to be enthusiastic in exploring and applying technologies and scientific advances for training, production activities and social life.
- Training young, competent and enthusiastic teachers to be excellent professionals in exploring and applying technologies and scientific advances.
- Combining technological and scientific activities with improving teaching staff. Making regulations encouraging and forcing teachers and officers to do researches applying new technology in management and teaching.
- Modernizing information system supporting for researches, applying information technology in every activity. Building up libraries, modern teaching equipment and electric teaching plans. Focusing on activities of improving researching skills for teachers, using Internet as an indispensable demand in teaching and learning.
- Closely coordinating with enterprises and businesses in recommending, selecting, implementing and evaluating studies and technology transferring project. Usually renovating training programs, updating modern technologies.
- Coordinating in training and cooperating in technological and scientific activities with local and international institutes, colleges, organizations and enterprises to exchange experience and improve professional knowledge for the College’s teaching staff.
- Making regulations encouraging students to take part in technological and scientific activities, applying new technologies to improve training quality.
- Making regulations supporting, encouraging teachers and officers in doing researches or searching for contracts, themes or projects. Upgrading infrastructure and equipments for training and management. Equipping modern facilities for labs, theoretical classrooms or vocational practice workshops, etc.
