The consultant of the French development agency working in schools

On the 01^st, 02^nd and 03^rd of May, 2011, Mr. Patric Perego and Mr. Hua Vi Duc – AFD advisory experts together with staffs in ODA – Funded Vocational Training Projects Management Unit – GDVT came to visit and worked at the college to finalize investment research reports for school which were signed in 2010; 

Welcoming the group were meritorious artist Nguyen Van An – Secretary of Party Committee, Rector of the college, Rectors Boards and heads of units in the college.

After working with the Rectors Board and heads of units in the college, the group worked with Finance and Accounting Department; teachers of Mechanics Faculty and Electricity Faculty which are beneficiaries from invested capital. The group highly appreciated the dynamism and enthusiasm of teachers in the college, and strongly believed in effectiveness of the project when being invested in the college.

At the end of the working session, the group came to visit and attended the opening ceremony of fostering class for welding and CNC processing staffs at VPIC 1 Company.

General information about the project

The project invests in 05 colleges with total capital of 20 million euro, in which 10.6 million euros is invested in equipment procurement for 03 colleges including:

Remaining capital is used for composing documents for invested trades and training teachers in and out the country; 02 other colleges, invested in fostering teachers, are Nghi Son Vocational College (Thanh Hoa) and Dung Quat Vocational College (Quang Ngai).

The project would be carried out from 2012 to 2015.
