AFD advisory experts worked at the college

On 21/10/2013 morning, Mr. Eric MOISSET – AFD expert came to visit and worked at the college, welcoming expert group (AFD) were Mr. Nguyen Van An, Secretary of Party’s Cell, Rector of the college, Rectors Board and representatives of related units.

During the business trip, Mr. Eric Moisset came to visit and worked at 05 colleges which are benefit from ODA-funded program of France. VCAM has 04 trades invested, including Automotive Technology, Welding, Mechanic Processing and Industrial Electricity.

In addion, the group came to see equipment and facilities of the college and listened to reports of college’s leaders on status of project implementation and necessary conditions supporting the project. After that, Mr. Eric Moisset would report the status to AFD.

Rectors Board asked Mr. Eric Moisset for help in finalizing college’s development strategy until 2020, training leaders and completing quality control system to meet requirements of a high quality college, supporting Vocational Education Faculty in developing impacts of the project during and after implementing, building relation between the college and French vocational colleges so that the college can become a model of Viet-Phap relation.

At the end of the working session, Mr. Eric Moisset acknowledged proposals of Rectors Board and undertook to be responbile for cooperating with GDVT, MOLISA, AFD and Vietnam’s functional agencies to implement the project on schedule.

VCAM will receive a total of 256 billion Vietnam dong for building 02 practical workshops and procuring equipment for 04 invested trades. Besides, 05 colleges which are benefit from the project will be invested 162 billion Vietnam dong in buying textbooks and training teachers. The project will be implemented from 2013 to 2017.

Also, from the working day of Mr. Eric Moisset, the college started selling bidding documents on builing 3-floor-practical workshop of Automotive Technology Faculty in the framework of the project.
